Planetary gear reducers Rossi

ROSSI EP SERIES Planetary reducers are used in almost all areas of application that require high torques, maximum load capacity, high transmission ratio, high efficiency and service life, small dimensions and weights.

ADVANTAGES OF PLANETARY REDUCERS IN COMPARISON WITH CLASSIC REDUCERS

1. DIMENSIONS The planetary reducer is significantly more compact than a standard gear reducer, angular gear reducer or worm gear reducer and is therefore easier to install in the structure. A simple and functional design for installation on a flange, shaft with feet or socket version. Smaller clearance, greater stiffness and load capacity for heavy loads.

2. WEIGHT A planetary gear weighs about ½ less than a comparable conventional reducer (worm, linear or angular) and carries a higher max. torque.

3. PRICE Due to serial production and new technology for the production of planetary gears with internal toothing with pull-out pins, production technology has become significantly cheaper in recent decades, as well as modular installation have contributed to greater economic competitiveness of planetary reducers.

4. HIGH TRANSMISSION RATIOS AND HIGH TORQUES With the load distributed over 3 planetary gears, high torques can be transmitted even with relatively small compact dimensions of the transmission, and with the successive installation of gear stages, the highest transmission ratios >20,000 can be achieved.

Given their size, they have high torsional stiffness and low backlash, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
