EXAMPLES OF USE
An example of the use of the ROSSI industrial toothed angle reducer in an anti-explosion design Atex for a torque >100,000 Nm, engine power 55kW to drive a chain conveyor for transporting coal in a thermal power plant. The reducer is connected to the conveyor via an elastic coupling with rubber plugs.
An example of using a ROSSI industrial gear reducer with an auxiliary drive in the event of a main engine failure. Drive motor power 110kW, torque >100,000Nm. The reducer and the electric motor are connected via a hydrodynamic coupling, which ensures a slow soft start and prevents resp. protects against mechanical overload.
Rossi drive station, rated engine power P=900kW, output torque Mt2=400,000Nm, connection of reducer and electric motor via hydrodynamic coupling for soft start. The drive station rests on a metal base, which is elastically clamped via a torque lever. The reducer has a hollow shaft with a clamping disc and is directly mounted on the shaft of the working machine.
