EXAMPLES OF USE
An example of the use of ROSSI helical inline gear reducers in a rolling mill to drive rollers. Special dedicated ROSSI "roller table" electric motors with ROSSI linear gear reducers for high starting torques and shock loads. Electric motors are closed cast iron design without fan, cooling by radiation through radial fins - IC410. For the most difficult working conditions in the ironworks (24/7 work, high temp., dust, emulsions, etc.) Speed regulation in the range from 0 rpm to 200 rpm.
An example of the use of ROSSI helical inline reducers in the wood industry to drive a transport line. The motors are frequency regulated in the range from 30 rpm to 200 rpm. The toothed linear reducers are connected to the rollers via toothed couplings.
An example of the use of ROSSI helical inline gear reducers in the production of aluminum. The linear reducers are connected to the rollers via elastic flexible Periflex couplings, in order to compensate for maximum shock loads.
