Elastic couplings with rubber pin
Elastic couplings for maximum torques up to 1 million Nm. The elastic plug design is ideal for applications involving safety, such as elevator drives or fire pumps. The safety aspect of the design allows the coupling to be serviced without removing the hub if the elastomer is damaged.
Applications
Elastomer elements reduce vibrations and shock loads and adjust angular deviations up to 0.5 degrees.
The original sleeve is a neoprene elastomer with a bronze coating impregnated with graphite. Many customizations are possible with this coupling, including brake drum clutches and connecting rods.
Switches can be made to order or as a replacement for manufacturers such as Flender, David Brown, Tschan and others.
